Oregon Department of Education Grant (Wow!)

It is hard to explain in a few sentences the incredible blessing it is to receive a grant amount that adjusts your 5-year school farm funding plans around a wishful shoestring budget into a 1-year plan that is fully funded. That is exactly what happened when Growing A Future program received a $91,000 Farm to School Grant from the Oregon Department of Education. This grant means by the spring of 2021, we will have a fully operational School Farm for the district offering multi-faceted teaching and training programs for student and community members.
