How You Can Help
The purpose of the Growing A Future School Farm is to engage both students and community members. There are many ways to get involved with the GAF program and we invite you to find what fits your desires and jump in!
Time
Volunteering Your Time
Whether you're a student or community member, if you have time in the morning, afternoon, evening or weekend, there are important ways and opportunities for you to help us grow the program. Let us know your schedule and we'll do our best to keep you as involved as you would like to be.
Expertise
Using Your Talents
From planting to weeding, watering to full irrigation, pruning to harvesting, hoeing to driving tractors, website to personal sales development, we have a way for you to use your talents to make a difference in the GAF program and farm. Send us your list of available talents and we'll keep you busy.
Donations*
Financial & In-Kind
Although they say 'money makes the world go round' we've found that a spare shovel, hoe, wheelbarrow can keep a volunteer busy. Perhaps you have a tractor or tiller that you will operate for a day to prep the planting area? Maybe it's a load of manure to drop off to enhance our soil? All donations are welcomed and needed.
